Warranty
GlassParts UK Ltd warrants that the products will be free from material defects for 6 months after the date of delivery in accordance with the terms outlined below. These conditions shall apply to any original, repaired, or replaced parts supplied by Glassparts.
- The purchaser must notify GlassParts in writing of the defect within the warranty period of 6 months
- GlassParts shall have reasonable opportunity to examine the ordered product at either the purchaser's or GlassParts premises (at the discretion of GlassParts).
- The return of defective products must be approved by GlassParts, prior to its return.
- The Purchaser shall bear the cost of carriage, postage and packaging. Any shipments received where these costs have not been paid by the Purchaser will not be accepted.
- GlassParts will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective product within a reasonable time.
GlassParts will not accept warranty protection claims for damage caused should any of the following apply:
- Inadequate installation standards
- Insufficient handling of the product, according to our instructions or expected industry standards. This includes the installation, the suitable use, and storage of the products.
- Incorrect use of the product. Including but not restricted to; using products designed for internal use for external projects, installing glass which is unsuitable for the chosen hardware e.g. weight /dimensions, etc.
- Continued use of the product after notice of the defect, without prior approval from GlassParts
- The product has been modified, with previous written approval
- Expected wear and tear from general use
- Wilful damage
- Any "act of God" that may have caused damage to the product in one event or over a period of time.
